TVETCGC aims to pursue strategic alignment and performance within the TVET college sector through value-driven support, ethical leadership, organisational positioning, and meaningful stakeholder relationships within and outside the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) sector.

The TVETCGC is the sole representative body for the governing councils of public TVET colleges in South Africa.
